Easter - Axel's First

Easter morning the kids got up the Easter Bunny had hidden eggs as a treasure hunt to their baskets. While the big kids were finding their baskets, Axel had fun examining his and trying to eat everything he came in contact with.

Carol, Mark, Ricky, Alex, Shaunna, Sharon, and Terry all came over to our house and we all went 4 wheeling down to the river. It's an area called Little Babylon. The water was warm and it was so much fun. Then Carol and Mark opened the Cafe' and we all had Easter dinner there.

SLC Girls Weekend

We went up Friday night and stayed in Orem. We went over to Ann and Gregg's for dinner. Winco pizza, salad and breadsticks. The perfect combo. We ended up going to Tai Pan. Jenni was going to 12 step with Gregg, and I kinda invited myself to go. It was a great experience.

So I always thought it was a little weird that Lyn's deceased wife's family would invite my mom and I to things. I mean, we know Diane and get along with her very well, but everyone else - it seemed odd to me. This year for the Girls Birthday Luncheon, as they call it, Stephanie (Diane's daughter) was coming down with Johnny. I really wanted to meet her and Johnny, so we decided to go. My mom had met everyone at one time or another, so she knew who they all were, it was just me who was in the dark. Steph and I talked most of the time. Our boys are a month and 3 days apart. Johnny was a bit overwhelmed with everyone and Axel was okay with it, he just had a rough night the night before.
