Easter 2015

A man who was completely innocent, offered himself as a sacrifice for the good of others, including his enemies, and became the ransom of the world. It was a perfect act.

The thing I love most about Easter is it's meaning for new life. The blooming of flowers, the budding of trees, the birth of baby animals - all resemble Christ rising from the dead.
I am not sure where an Easter bunny, hiding eggs, eating candy and all those other weird traditions stem from. None the less we participate in the community events, and we have fun doing it. This year we went to Hurricane to the Easter egg hunt. Oh what fun the kids had and they got SO MUCH CANDY. Pretty sure a lot of it will be going to work with me.

Even Itty had a ton of fun gathering candy.

Itty insisted on carrying his own bucket the entire way to the car. When he had to put it down and take a picture, all hell broke loose.

We ventured to St George for lunch, and some shopping. As you can tell by the photos, we were all thrilled.

Saturday night, sometime around midnight, the Easter Bunny came! Unfortunately he walked through flour, spilled his basket, and his tail got caught in the door.

But none of that happened before he was able to leave some goodies for the kids.

Itty got snacks and didn't care about anything else. He decided to forgo the Easter egg hunt and chow down. After eggs were found, it was time for breakfast. Special bunny(sorta) pancakes.

Then the afternoon was spent playing, eating, playing, eating, riding quads, eating, getting sunburned, eating dust, playing and more eating.

I think it's safe to speak for everyone when I say we all had a great time. The boys took a tubby after a long sand filled day. We counted our blessings and thanked the Lord for a wonderful day.
