American Idol and The Voice 2012

We have been watching The Voice and American Idol religiously. I love must say that I simply watched AI for Steven Tyler, but I have fallen in love with a few of the contestants. The Voice is my first love and I wish it were on more times a week. Q always teases me because I will be watching and tell him that someone is on my team. So, when we are watching AI he will do the same thing to me.

Our favorites:

From AI - Colton Dixon - he is my very favorite and I think he will win the whole thing. Piano Man was the most incredible performance.

Jessica from AI is just a little power house. I think she will be in the top 3 if not the top 2.

I love Linsey from The Voice. She has a Fiona Apple sound about her.

Phillip is one of Q's favorites. He is a true entertainer.

Raelyn is such a cute fistey little thing. I hated her audition but the battle rounds really sold her for me.

Skylar is definately in the running for winning AI. She has a very strong voice. It is going to take me a couple more weeks to decide if I really like her and she is versitile enough for me or not.

Who couldn't love Tony Lucca. He was my MMC crush when I was 11. I am pulling for him to take The Voice.

The other Tony - aka Smashing Pumpkin Guy. I love his stage presence. There is something very mysterious about him that I really like.

So I'll keep watching and voting and hopefully my predictions will be right...

Milkshake poll...

So for the last 2 years I have tried to find the best vanilla milkshake in St. George.

Thumbs up: hospital, sonic, in and out, Denny's
Mediocre: burger king, jack in the box, Carl's junior
Thumbs down: del taco, cornerstone, Starbucks

The hospital has the best milkshake hands down! Now to find something equivalent...

Dr Dr

Think we've been to the Dr much? It seems like between all 3 kids we have been living at the Dr's office, Instacare and the ER. Beck's goes for his 2 year check up today. 4 months late, I know, but at least it's getting done. Hopefully this is the last of our Dr visits for a while.

Morning Glory

Jax's first bus ride. She has been begging me to let her take the bus. This moring Q found the bus stop and let her ride the bus to school. She was so excited. I love the little things that excite this girl!

Its gone.

I was ready for a change. 10 inches to locks of love. That made it all worth it.

Spring Has Sprung

What a spring we have had already. We have done so many fun things as a family. We have also been to instacare and the ER too many times to count. I think as of now everyone is on the mend and we are looking forward to a fast month so that we can take off on our first Macomber Legg family vacation!

I am very lucky that all of the kids love books. Jaxan got an A card from school so we went to Applebees to celebrate. I don't have any pics of Sky reading because she has been so sick lately she has slept or watched TV. She has not felt like doing much of anything.

Our newest project "Q's Man Cave". We are building a shed in the back yard so that he has a place to hide out. He has been very excited about this project. I am just super lucky he is letting me help him work on it. He even bought me an "us" drill. It's little and doesn't take a battery. I don't think he realizes the damage I could do. Then again maybe he does, before he leaves the house he always tells me not to nail or screw anything while he is gone.

We had a very fun birthday BBQ with Q's mom and grandma for his mom's birthday. I love when he BBQ's.

It has been beautiful weather. We took a ride out on the bike one weekend. It was amazing. I love the freedom you feel from the open road.

The kids have loved playing outside when they haven't been sick.

Even in the rain and snow we took the bike to the air show last weekend. It was freezing but we had so much fun. I love that we can do stupid silly things and laugh about them.

These little naughtys are the cherry on top of our sundae we call a family!
