Mike was supposed to get this kids this weekend. Due to the Iron Man Q and I were planning on skipping town and heading to Springdale. Well Mike used the Iron Man as an excuse, then his truck broke down, so it was afternoon before he was coming to get the kids. We decided to take them with us to Zion and have lunch at Casa De Amigos. They had a great time. Becks slept all the way back. Jaxan had a great science lesson at Weeping Rock. It was beautiful and warm and just amazing up there. They loved the water, they loved the sunshine. It was an amazing day! Went home and took a 2 hour nap!
I can hardly believe all this beauty is in our back yard. It's amazing. Sometimes I wish I lived near the beach, but I wouldn't want the congestion. Springdale is perfect. Visitors, yes - but we know the best times to go when it's not super busy. There is something new to take in every time we go. It's just amazing living so close to something so beautiful.
